- Rinse the chicken thoroughly under running water.
- Take out 4 cubes of onion paste, an appropriate amount of green onion, and 1 cube of garlic from the freezer.
- In a large pot, add the prepared chicken, onion jam, green onion, garlic, and enough water to cover the chicken. Boil vigorously at level 5 for 40 minutes. Then reduce to level 3 (medium heat) and simmer for 10 minutes. If too much water has evaporated, add more water.
- Cook somyeon noodles: Add 40 g toddler somyeon and 100 g adult somyeon to boiling water and cook for 4 minutes.
- Remove 120 g of the toddler somyeon separately and rinse under running water until all the salt is completely removed. Do the same with the adult noodles.
- Toddler bowl setup: Pour chicken broth and solids over the toddler somyeon. Cut the noodles into toddler-friendly pieces. Remove about 50 g of chicken, cut it up, and place it in the side compartment of the bowl.
